French Toast Brioche Bake

Brioche gets baked! Make the night before and satisfy everyone's appetites or opposing schedules.


— 1 lb Brioche (loaf or buns — sliced, cubed or torn into 1 inch pieces)
— 5 Eggs
— 1 1/2 cups Milk (your choice)
— Optional: 1/2 cup of heavy cream (for richer bake)
— 1/2 cup Raisins (your choice)
— 1/3 cup light Brown Sugar
— 1 tsp CSC Royal Cinnamon
— 1/2 tsp grated CSC Nutmeg
— 1/4 tsp Kosher Salt
— 1/2 tsp pure Vanilla Extract
— 1+ tbsp Butter (for baking dish)


— Butter baking dish, add brioche pieces and raisins
— In bowl mix: eggs, milk (+ heavy cream if used), sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, and vanilla until well combined
— Pour mixture over brioche, mix lightly until evenly coated
— Refrigerate for at least hours or overnight
— Bake at 350 for 60-75 minutes
— Serve topped with cinnamon sugar and maple syrup
